While Pokémon is the most well-known anime about monsters and their trainers, Digimon remains popular with new anime series and video games. Since first appearing in 1997, Digimon has grown into a large franchise, and several of its stories have been adapted into movies. Now, Digimon fans can enjoy some of these films for free, but only for a limited time.
Beginning May 2nd, the official Digimon YouTube channel will start adding popular Digimon movies to its collection. A new movie will be released each week, and it will be available to watch for free for seven days. The Digimon team has published a schedule so you can see exactly which movies will be added and when. You can find the YouTube channel here and the movie schedule below.

Digimon’s Future
To celebrate the upcoming mobile game Digimon Up, a selection of movies from the Digimon franchise are available to watch for free. The new game, launching on iOS and Android later this year, will let players level up Digimon just like in the original series. It features fresh pixel art and incorporates familiar elements like the Digivice and Digimon Card Game, bringing the whole Digimon world to life on your phone!
The newest Digimon series, Digimon Beatbreak, is a bit different from previous installments – it’s aimed at an older audience. Currently, the show is planned to have around fifty episodes, so the season finale is still a ways off. If you haven’t seen it yet, Digimon Beatbreak is available to stream on Crunchyroll. Tomoro Tenma lives in a world powered by human thoughts and feelings, which are called “e-Pulse” and used to run AI devices called Sapotama. After a Digimon named Gekkomon emerges from his own device, Tomoro joins Glowing Dawn, a secret team working to uncover the truth behind these rogue Digimon and a system that’s both powered and damaged by human emotion.
