The Dark Pictures Anthology games are full of hidden secrets, and Directive 8020 is no exception. If you find all 5 of the ‘O Death’ secrets, you’ll unlock an extra scene featuring the Curator, plus a sneak peek at the next game in the series.

Episode 8: Come True

The Way Back

Okay, so I booted up that second Server Control Panel, and then I had to crouch and crawl through all that gross, fleshy stuff to get to the server racks. Once I lowered them, I found the last wall monitor, and even cooler, my first O Death secret! It was this weirdly shaped coin just lying on the floor. I watched the cutscene that triggered, and it was awesome!

Discovering the hidden O Death unlocks the other four, but they appear in areas you’ve already played. Luckily, you don’t need to start a new game – you can use the game’s checkpoint system to get them all.

Episode 1: Little Star

Once the lockdown is lifted, you can discover this O Death secret. Before you begin the spacewalk, grab the datapad located on the floor inside the hexagonal control panel station.

Episode 3: The Sample

Search

In the Mess Hall, you’ll find a new terminal just to the left of the vending machines. Use it to interact with the system.

Episode 5: Mr. Williams

Radio Silence

Starting at Bridge Operations, go up the stairs and follow the hallway towards the Cockpit. Look to your left for a wall-mounted screen – the last major secret is nearby.

Once you’ve left the Bridge and taken the elevator back to the upper deck, go to the Crew Lounge from the Atrium side. The last O Death secret is hidden on a bench just to the left of the door.

I’m so excited! The game just unlocked a special cutscene from the Curator, and it’s awesome! If you want to rewatch it, you can find it in the Bonus Content section on the Main Menu – I’ve already watched it a couple of times!

How To View The Next Dark Pictures Anthology Teaser Trailer

After you find all five secrets in O Death, a trailer for the next game in the series will appear in the Bonus Content area.

It’s brief and doesn’t reveal much, but it will definitely grab the attention of those who have followed the series for a while.
