Disney Lets Deadpool Drop F-Bombs Aboard New Cruise Ship (Video)

Disney recently let Deadpool use some strong language during a performance on its new cruise ship, the Disney Destiny. While Disney is famous for its theme parks and movies, it’s also a big player in the cruise industry through Disney Cruise Line.

Disney Cruise Line used to have six ships, but they’re getting ready to launch their newest one, the Disney Destiny. While it officially sets sail on November 20, 2025, Disney has been offering previews so fans can get a sneak peek. One exciting feature is a Marvel show starring Deadpool, and true to his character, Deadpool uses strong language during the performance.

Guests aboard the Disney Destiny cruise ship can catch a Marvel comedy show called With Great Power in the Saga entertainment lounge. The show highlights popular characters and storylines from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and features a particularly outspoken Deadpool who shares his thoughts on Disney and the ship itself.

Okay, so Deadpool dropped about three F-bombs during his appearance, which was pretty wild! Disney did bleep out parts of the words, but honestly, you could still totally hear them – which I didn’t expect, especially since the whole thing was happening on a Disney cruise ship! He was a good sport about it though, and playfully apologized, claiming he just ‘forgot’ he was on a Disney Cruise. It was a funny moment, and a little bit shocking!

The best part was just how amazing it was. Oops, excuse my language! I forgot I was on a Disney cruise and needed to watch my words.

Deadpool made a funny entrance onto the show by immediately acknowledging and playfully teasing the “Disney adults” in the audience, calling their presence “magical.” This was a nod to the recent trend of criticizing adults who visit Disney parks without children – and Deadpool couldn’t resist joining the conversation.

Wow, a lot of Disney fans here! What’s going on? Is this some kind of ‘Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue’ on a cruise ship? That’s… different. Someone at Disney really let their imagination run wild. Sorry to interrupt, but I couldn’t help myself. I was actually trying to reach guest services to report a silly problem – I was going to say someone made a rude shape with my towels last night. I just had to see what was happening in here first.

Deadpool jokingly called out Disney for using pre-recorded videos to make their attractions feel more live and interactive. Disney frequently employs this technique, having Cast Members seemingly converse with pre-recorded characters. A good example is Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, where a Cast Member appears to have a real-time conversation with a pre-recorded video of Goofy.

Gamble started, “We’re filming right now. I’m Gamble, and this is Zayah. We’re listing all the Marvel heroes.” Deadpool interrupted, jokingly saying, “Sorry, but this is a pre-recorded bit. You need to practice timing your lines better!” He paused for a moment, then added, “Exactly! That was a funny and insightful comment.”

In the show, Disney’s most mischievous character insists on participating, and talks Gamble and Zayah into doing a puppet show with him. Unfortunately, he slips in another crude joke with a sexual reference.

When a cast member brings out a Wolverine sock puppet, Deadpool jokes about it potentially being a bit dirty.

Okay, so I’m brainstorming here, right? Deadpool’s like, “I need to be in this, but let’s end my part with something really memorable… puppets!” And Gamble, understandably, is just completely thrown by that. Deadpool immediately shuts him down – “No questions!” – and tells everyone there’s a surprise waiting for them in the top drawer of the file cabinet. Apparently, he left a little gift for the team.

Gamble: “Sock puppets?”

Those aren’t just any sock puppets – they’re amazing, Broadway-quality Disney puppets! Forget ‘The Lion King,’ these are spectacular enough for a grand finale. Sorry about the Wolverine puppet being a little worn, though. Alright, let’s get this show started! [Music starts: This Is How We Do It] That’s right! Now, everyone, get ready to enjoy the puppet show!

During the cruise ship show, Deadpool playfully referenced Fantasmic!, a famous Disney theme park attraction. Similar to a joke in Deadpool & Wolverine, he sarcastically expressed his “happiness” that Disney owns the rights to the Fantasmic! theme.

That’s classic Disney! Let’s finish with the ‘Fantasmic!’ theme. We’re so happy we could use it!

While technically okay for kids due to censored language and subtle humor they likely won’t get, With Great Power: A Marvel Comedy Show is really designed for older teens and adults. It’s definitely more of a show for grown-ups than children.

Is Deadpool Coming to the Disney World Parks?

With Disney’s new cruise ship heavily featuring Marvel characters, including Deadpool, many fans are wondering if we might see those heroes appear at Walt Disney World in Orlando. Marvel is incredibly popular, and the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind’ ride is a huge hit at the park, so adding other popular characters like Deadpool seems like a natural next step.

It’s not as easy as simply hiring an actor to appear at a theme park. Back in 1994, Marvel made a deal with Universal Studios to create a Marvel-themed area at Islands of Adventure. This agreement gave Universal the rights to use characters like the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men in their theme parks, specifically with exclusive rights to those characters in all locations east of the Mississippi River.

The original agreement is still active and doesn’t have an expiration date. Because of this, Disney isn’t allowed to use specific characters or teams at its Disney World park. That’s why you’ll find most of the Marvel attractions and characters at the Disneyland park instead.

Deadpool is popular as a standalone character, which makes it surprising that Marvel hasn’t included him in team-up movies yet. It seems they’ve likely been unable to secure the rights to do so, or he would have made an appearance by now.

Good news for fans: Deadpool will still be appearing in Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, now that he’s officially part of that world.
