EA has confirmed that the latest installment of the College Football series, EA Sports College Football 27, will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on July 9th. They revealed the news with a brand new trailer, which you can watch below.
EA has announced that EA Sports College Football 27 will be released soon and has detailed the different ways to buy the game: Standard, Deluxe, and an MVP Bundle. You can now pre-order any version. Even the Standard Edition, which costs $69.99, £69.99, or €79.99, includes bonus content if you pre-order, such as a player item featuring one of three cover athletes (rated 81 overall), 100 Dynasty Coach Points, and 250 Road to Glory Skill Points.
The Deluxe Edition of EA Sports College Football 27 costs $99.99 (USD), £99.99 (GBP), or €109.99 (EUR) and includes a high-rated player (choose from four options) if you pre-order by June 16th. You’ll also get three days of early access to the game and exclusive first access to Solo Challenges, plus everything included in the Standard Edition.
The MVP Bundle combines the Deluxe Editions of both EA Sports College Football and Madden NFL 27 for $149.99 (USD), £139.99 (GBP), or €159.99 (EUR). It also gives you extra in-game currency – 4,600 College Football Points and 4,600 Madden Points – as well as special player items for both games: one Upgradable Ultimate Team Player for EA Sports College Football 27 and one Ultimate Team Evo item for Madden NFL 27.
The recently released trailer for EA Sports College Football 27 doesn’t show a lot of actual gameplay. Instead, it highlights the passion and significance of college football for the players. Legendary coach Curt Cignetti provides the narration, and he’s expected to be a key figure in the game’s features focused on developing players and coaching strategies.
Even though the trailer doesn’t show much actual gameplay, it’s full of exciting highlights from matches, including impressive touchdowns, powerful tackles that stop opponents, and the fast-paced energy of each play’s beginning.
The new version of the game will have several key upgrades, most notably Dynasty Blueprints. These blueprints give you more say in how your team develops. You’ll need to manage the expectations of your Athletic Director and use Dynasty Points to hire staff and improve your facilities, ultimately boosting your team’s performance.
Beyond playing traditional football, EA Sports College Football 27 introduces a fun new mode called Mascot Mashup. It lets you pit over 120 college mascots against each other in wacky 11-on-11 games, complete with silly celebrations and antics. Popular modes like Road to Glory will also be back in the game.
