Okay, so picture this: you’re walking down the aisle, feeling all the feels, and then it hits you – your future wife has been having an affair. But it’s not just anyone she’s been with… it’s the half-brother of her adopted sister! Seriously, the family drama is off the charts, and you’re standing there, trying to process it all on what should be the happiest day of your life. It’s a situation, let me tell you!
OK, maybe not. But in EastEnders, this is pretty commonplace.
Weddings on the BBC soap opera rarely run smoothly, and Vicki Fowler’s affair with Zack Hudson has been a secret that could explode at any moment since last year.
Almost everyone on Albert Square knew about the affair, so it wasn’t long before her fiancé, Ross Marshall, found out.
So, Zack ran into Whitney Dean earlier this week – you know, an old girlfriend – and honestly, you could see he was really hoping things could be rekindled. But it turns out she’s moved on and is seriously happy with someone new, a guy named Ruben. It was a bit heartbreaking to watch, really.

He was deeply embarrassed and, hoping for one last chance with Vicki, gave her a necklace. But she explained that she was already committed to Ross, with her wedding happening the next day, and she couldn’t accept it.
Feeling down, Zack went home to look after his nephew, Albie. Meanwhile, Vicki spent time with their sister, Sharon Watts, and Ross arrived home after a night out with friends.
Zack found a pair of underwear on the floor, and, feeling desperate, hinted to Ross that Vicki might be cheating on him again.
Ross was clearly having second thoughts about the wedding, and those doubts had already taken root.
Zack realized he hadn’t gotten dressed yet, and Ross admitted he didn’t fully trust Vicki. Zack saw this as another chance to talk Vicki out of her decision, but she wasn’t listening.
Vicki faced another problem when she found out her wedding car wasn’t available. She and her brother, Mark (Stephen Aaron-Sipple), had to take the subway instead. Although it was a short one-stop ride, their train got stuck in the tunnel behind another train.

She couldn’t contact anyone to say she was delayed, and Ross was becoming increasingly unnerved.
Things got even more concerning when people reacted with worry upon hearing about Zack’s disappearance. When Ian and Kathy Beale were questioned about their obvious unease, they immediately changed the subject.
Mark suddenly ran into the tent, carrying Vicki. Zack hurried in right behind him, and Vicki was excited to finally start the wedding.
As the speaker started her speech, Ross couldn’t wait any longer and directly asked Vicki if she had slept with Zack.
Her silence was more telling than words ever could be, and the floor fell from beneath Ross’s feet.
Is this the end of their relationship?
