EastEnders airs shock passion for Zack Hudson in early BBC iPlayer release – and it’s not Vicki Fowler

Zack Hudson (James Farrar) cheated on Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) in EastEnders, having an affair with another woman.

Vicki and her friend’s fiancé shared a kiss just yesterday, following Vicki’s bachelorette party. He unexpectedly performed as a stripper, which initially embarrassed her, but she couldn’t ignore the strong connection they had.

Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), knowing she had been unfaithful and cautioned not to bother her sister Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), noticed what was happening and pulled the fire alarm at Harry’s Barn to interrupt them. But outside, despite the cold, Vicki gave Zack her coat, and they started kissing.

Little did they realise, someone witnessed them and snapped a quick photo.

Today on the show, Zack attempted to have a serious conversation with Vicki in the kitchen about their kiss and what it could mean for their relationship. Sam Mitchell encouraged him to be honest with his feelings, but didn’t want to talk about it herself.

Vicki firmly told him that a romantic relationship was impossible, regardless of how she felt. Her worries about her future with her fiancé, Ross Marshall, were eased when he promised to find a new place for his troubled teenage son, Joel, after Joel finished his six-month sentence in a youth detention center.

As viewers may remember, Joel attacked Vicki and left her seriously injured. She now lives in fear that he’ll reappear and cause trouble for them.

Feeling dejected, Zack went to Harry’s Barn to feel better and tell Sam what had happened. They had a long, honest conversation, during which Sam shared wonderful news: she’d just gotten a clean bill of health after her breast cancer diagnosis.

With sparks beginning to fly, the pair headed into the office and slept together.

Zack realized he was developing feelings for someone else and went home to tell Vicki he wanted to end their relationship. But before he could even talk to her, she saw a picture of them kissing on someone’s phone.

The accompanying message read: “I won’t tell if you pay me.”
