Honestly, I knew it was only a matter of time before someone found out about Vicki and Zack. It was inevitable, and I was just waiting for it to happen!
The romantic drama between the characters in EastEnders is really heating up, and despite Kathy Beale’s warnings, the two are clearly drawn to each other. This is complicated by the fact that one of them, Vicki, is already engaged to Ross Marshall and they’re actively planning their wedding, including the hen and stag parties.
In today’s episode, Denise, Kim, and Chelsea Fox (played by Diane Parish, Tameka Empson, and Zaraah Abrahams) surprised Vicki by showing up at her door dressed in 1960s outfits. They invited her to a party at Harry’s Barn that evening, but Vicki felt it wasn’t the right time for a celebration.
She discovered that Ross’s son, Joel (Max Murray), who had previously tried to harm her, was being released from a young offenders institute after only six months – meaning he’d be back in Walford sooner than she thought. While she told Ross she would respect his decisions regarding Joel, she made it clear she didn’t want to live with him, given his abusive behavior.
Vicki was preoccupied with her thoughts as she went to meet her friends at the club. She was clearly troubled, and when the conversation shifted to what initially drew her to Ross, she found herself questioning whether he truly understood her like she once believed.

Things were getting a little tense, so I suggested we ask Vicki’s brother, Mark – that’s Stephen Aaron-Sipple, by the way – to do the stripper bit as a joke. He thought it was totally off-limits, which, fair enough, but he was a good sport and offered to come with me to The Vic to find someone who actually could.
Zack had just told Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) that he had feelings for Vicki. Sam was curious about how things were going now that they were living together, and Zack explained he simply wanted Vicki to be happy.
Zack realized he wanted more than just a casual relationship, feeling a strong, unfamiliar connection with the other person. It wasn’t just a fleeting encounter; it felt intensely exciting. Sam encouraged him to pursue what he truly desired.

Kim and Mark went to the pub, and Vicki texted Ross, suggesting they talk and resolve their issues. However, Ross missed the message. Before he could respond, Zack unexpectedly volunteered to be the stripper.
At first, Vicki wasn’t sure about his performance, but they quickly became lost in each other’s gaze. Kathy, noticing this from across the room, impulsively slammed her hand on the fire alarm to interrupt them.

Vicki gave Zack her coat to warm him up, and they started kissing. Lost in the moment, they didn’t notice Ross walking toward them.
Several people were in the water, including Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), her grandson Louie (Jake McNally), and the rest of the hen party. It wasn’t long before someone spotted them.
Just as Ross started to dial Vicki’s number, Zack ran off, not realizing someone had captured a photo of them kissing.
Who caught them in the act, and what will they do with the incriminating evidence?

He’s the Soaps Editor over at TopMob, and honestly, he’s all over everything – from the biggest drama in Weatherfield (that’s Coronation Street for those unfamiliar) to the latest happenings in Walford, Emmerdale, and Hollyoaks. Before TopMob, he was a Soaps Reporter at Metro for two years, and he’s even been on set for both ‘Corrie’ and ‘Emmerdale’, which gives him a really unique insider perspective. He truly knows his soaps!
