Emily Blunt Third Wheels Stanley Tucci, Felicity Blunt’s Met Gala Date

Gird your loins: Stanley Tucci and Felicity Blunt have arrived at the 2026 Met Gala.

Actor Adrian Grenier, known for his role in The Devil Wears Prada, and his wife attended the Costume Institute Gala at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 4th, showcasing their style at the fashion-focused event.

Following the evening’s “Fashion is Art” theme, 65-year-old Stanley sported a green suede jacket, a coordinating satin pocket square, and sunglasses.

Felicity, age 45, also turned heads at the Costume Institute benefit, wearing a sheer lace top with black pants. The event was co-hosted by Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour. (You can find photos of all the celebrities at the Met Gala here.)

The outing was even more fun because Felicity and Stanley brought their children, 11-year-old Matteo and 8-year-old Emilia. They were also joined by Felicity’s sister and Stanley’s Devil Wears Prada co-star, Emily Blunt. Emily, 43, matched Felicity’s black lace outfit with a similar look, adding pearl accessories. The three were all smiles as they posed for pictures on the red carpet.

This is Stanley and Felicity’s first Met Gala as a couple, though Stanley has been to the event before, in 2003 and 2006.

Emily and Stanley have a strong family connection, having worked together not only in The Devil Wears Prada but also in its sequel. This meant the entire family—including Emily’s husband, John Krasinski, and their daughters Hazel, 12, and Violet, 9—were able to spend time together in Italy while filming the second movie.

Stanley explained to TopMob News in April, during an interview with Emily, that it was wonderful because they often travel together. Their children are close in age and are best friends, so having their personal and professional lives intersect felt unusual.

Stanley remembered the children being full of energy, constantly running around. Emily jokingly added that they were rarely seen and acted a bit like wild animals.

Although he and Emily are well-known in the fashion industry thanks to The Devil Wears Prada, Stanley’s passions extend to other areas as well.

I always admired how my parents presented themselves – they really put effort into their appearance. My dad, who was an art teacher, grew up in an era – the 1960s – where men typically wore suits and ties to work. Even as styles changed over the years and he became a little more relaxed in his dress, I always remember him having a jacket on. It was just part of his look, and something I really noticed and appreciated.

I’ve always admired this actor, and it’s so inspiring to see how much his family means to him – he’s a dad to twins, Isabel and Nicolo, who are 26, and a daughter, Camilla, who’s 23. Sadly, their mother, Kate Tucci, passed away. It’s fascinating to learn that he also looks to the greats of classic Hollywood for inspiration, and that really came through in his latest clothing line – it’s clear he draws a lot from those iconic stars!

He mentioned being inspired by Gene Kelly’s style in his films from the 1940s and 50s, calling it “the coolest thing.”

He described being inspired by classic style icons like Cary Grant in North By Northwest, particularly the shade of grey in his suit – he called it the ‘perfect grey.’ He also mentioned the sleek elegance of Sidney Poitier in the 1960s as another source of inspiration.
