Kendall Jenner looks euphoric at the 2026 Met Gala.
Kim Kardashian attended the annual Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on May 4th. The event, with a “Costume Art” theme, was hosted by Anna Wintour, Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, and Venus Williams.
Attending the charity event for the twelfth year, Kendall wore a dress from GapStudio by Zac Posen, aligning with the event’s “Fashion Is Art” theme. She paired her outfit with a striking statement piece.
The 30-year-old, who has been linked to Jacob Elordi, wore stunning jewelry from TKjewelry. (You can see photos of all the celebrities at the event here.)
As a lifestyle observer, I’ve definitely noticed Kendall Jenner’s evolution on the Met Gala red carpet! She first turned heads back in 2014, wearing Topshop for the ‘Charles James: Beyond Fashion’ theme, and she’s been a regular ever since. It’s become a family affair, really, with Kim and Kylie always by her side. Kourtney and Khloé have each made an appearance, but Kendall, Kim, and Kylie are the true Met Gala staples in the Kardashian-Jenner clan, as far as I’ve seen.
Kendall often uses the Met Gala as an opportunity to express her style, famously dressing as Audrey Hepburn in 2021 to fit the “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” theme.
Kendall shared with Vogue that the actress frequently wore Givenchy in her films. She described her as a true icon, adding that she’s been a lifelong fan.
Givenchy created a new dress for Kendall Jenner inspired by one Audrey Hepburn wore in the 1964 film My Fair Lady. It was a labor of love, taking 2,500 hours and the work of 30 skilled beaders to finish.
However, the embroidered rhinestone train weighed a bit too much for the supermodel to handle.
She admitted it would be difficult to stay on her feet all night, but she was determined to push through because the effort would be worthwhile.
It’s truly rewarding to be part of the gala’s celebrations, especially since phones aren’t allowed. Guests can fully enjoy a cocktail hour, explore the amazing Costume Exhibition, and watch live entertainment.
At a 2023 event, Kendall Jenner told Emma Chamberlain it was definitely girls’ night. Kylie Jenner then playfully asked the Vogue reporter, “Want to take a shot with me?”
“I’m taking a f–king shot with you inside,” Emma said. “It’s gonna be the best night ever.”
