The popular Netflix series, Emily in Paris, is ending with season 6. The show has announced that the upcoming season will be its last.
Filming for the new season is now underway! A recent photo features Lily Collins, who stars as the main character, at a scenic spot in Greece.
The photo also confirmed that the American’s time traveling through Europe is coming to an end, and the show will conclude with the next few episodes.
Lily announced the news on social media, saying she’s incredibly grateful for her six years playing Emily Cooper, but the upcoming sixth season will be the last.

As a huge fan, I’m both excited and a little sad to hear that Season 6 will be the last one! It promises to deliver everything we love about the show and give Emily a proper send-off. The whole team is really putting their heart and soul into making it a fantastic final season, and they’re actually filming it right now, which is amazing!
We’re so excited for what’s to come and can’t wait to celebrate our last season with you in style! Thank you for everything – we truly appreciate all of you. See you soon!
Darren Star, the show’s creator, shared that working on ‘Emily in Paris’ with the cast and crew has been an incredible experience.
Wow, as we wrap up the last season, I just want to say how thankful I am – to Netflix and Paramount for giving us this platform, but especially to all of you fans. It’s been an amazing ride, and I’m so glad you all came along for it!
As a huge fan, I’m honestly a little sad to see this chapter close, but so grateful for all the joy this show has brought me! It really sparked my wanderlust and made me fall even more in love with Paris. I’ll always cherish the adventures of Emily – she’s become a real icon for me, and I’ll definitely be rewatching for years to come!

The latest season ended with Emily getting a postcard from Gabriel, hinting at a possible reunion, as he invited her to join him in Greece. We’re still unsure what will happen next, but it sets the stage for a potential romance.
It looks like she accepted his invitation, as a preview photo shows she’ll be visiting sometime this season.
In France, things are getting complicated for Emily’s friend Mindy (Ashley Park) now that she’s engaged to her sometimes-boyfriend, Nico. This happens even though Mindy is starting to develop feelings for the charming Alfie (Lucien Laviscount).
And that’s not even considering the money problems at Agence Grateau, the advertising firm where Emily works and Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) is in charge.
