March on Paramount+ brings a strong lineup of TV shows, highlighted by two new series from Taylor Sheridan that are expected to generate a lot of buzz. For those who enjoy crime dramas, several popular shows, including three NCIS series, are returning mid-season. While there aren’t any new original movies, Paramount+ is adding a great selection of films, including beloved cult classics, to keep movie fans entertained.
As a total movie and TV buff, I’ve put together a list of everything awesome hitting Paramount+ in March! I’ve personally gone through and picked out the best new original shows and movies, and I’m sharing a complete rundown of everything fresh that’s coming to the service this month.
MovieWeb Staff Picks For What’s New To Paramount+ In March 2026
- Chinatown (March 1): The pinnacle of neo-noir nihilism, Roman Polanski’s Chinatown delivers a haunting story set in a sun-soaked LA where Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway get caught up in a twisting tale of greed and corruption.
- Nocturnal Animals (March 1): Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal lead this stylish tale of revenge and lost love by director Tom Ford; ideal for fans of psychological dramas.
- The Ghost and the Darkness (March 1): Underperforming at the box office, but later developing a deserved cult following, this is a based-on-a-true-story thriller that follows Val Kilmer and Michael Douglas as they hunt a deadly man-eating lion in colonial Africa.
- Mommie Dearest (March 1): Starring Faye Dunaway as Joan Crawford, Mommie Dearest is a loud, overly dramatic biopic about Crawford’s daughter navigating her mother’s temper and eccentricities; a must-watch camp classic. “No wire hangers, ever!”
- The Banshees of Inisherin (March 1): The film that brought back the perfect screen duo of Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, Martin McDonagh’s darkly funny Irish film delivers a story of broken friendship that spirals into chaos.
- Rebel in the Rye (March 8): Chronicling the life of literary icon J.D. Salinger and his troubled youth that would go on to inspire the seminal work, The Catcher in the Rye; insightful, gripping, and a phenomenal performance from Nicholas Hoult as Salinger.
