Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 Officially Drops First Trailer

As a huge fan, I was so excited to finally see Square Enix reveal the third game in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy at Summer Game Fest! It’s officially called Final Fantasy VII Revelation, and it’s going to finish the amazing, expanded story they’ve been telling. We’ll finally get to see how it all ends in Spring 2027!

Final Fantasy 7 is a fan favorite within the series, and its remake cleverly built upon the original storyline. What makes the future of the remake so captivating is that, even though players know the original ending, the new story could take a completely unexpected turn.

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Arrives Spring 2027

As a huge Final Fantasy fan, I’m so excited to hear that Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is officially coming to all platforms in Spring 2027! I was really thrilled to see Matthew Mercer, who voices Vincent Valentine, showing off the latest gameplay and dropping some cool surprises along with the release date. It’s going to be a long wait, but totally worth it!

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is set to feature the largest open world the series has ever seen, and players will have new ways to explore it, such as using parachutes to jump from the Highwind airship. The game also improves on the combat system, introducing a new class system that allows players to change characters’ skills during battles.

Final Fantasy 7’s Ending Is Controversial

In the first Final Fantasy 7 game for PlayStation, the heroes beat Sephiroth and Jenova, but a massive meteor is still on a collision course with the planet. Even summoning the powerful Holy spell isn’t enough to stop it, seemingly dooming the world. However, Aerith makes a surprising reappearance. The game ends with a scene set 500 years in the future, showing Red XIII running through a peaceful, green world with two young cubs.

The original ending of Final Fantasy VII was confusing for many players, and opinions were sharply divided – some loved its open-endedness, while others wished for a clearer resolution. While later content like Advent Children helped explain things, the completion of the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy gives the developers a chance to provide a completely new and satisfying conclusion to the story.

This is a currently developing story and will be updated over time.
