After leaving Netflix, the popular show Friends has found a new streaming home in the UK, and we now have the official arrival date.
The show was a popular title on Netflix for four years, but it became unavailable in December when its licensing agreement ended.
Good news for fans – especially those of us eager to revisit Central Perk! HBO Max is finally coming to the UK and Ireland on March 26th, 2026, and when it does, every single episode of Friends will be there waiting for a binge. Consider my watchlist officially prepped!
The platform will feature popular shows like the award-winning medical drama The Pitt, plus the latest seasons of Euphoria and House of the Dragon.
You’ll soon be able to stream the new Harry Potter TV series and the DC drama Lanterns on HBO Max.

The service will feature a wide range of popular movies like Superman, One Battle After Another, Sinners, A Minecraft Movie, and Dune: Part One. It will also be the new home of TNT Sports in the UK, available from day one.
In addition to Friends, viewers will also be able to enjoy popular series like Succession, The Sopranos, and Game of Thrones.
I’m excited to hear about the subscription options! It looks like I can start watching for as little as £4.99 a month, though that plan will have ads. If I’m a big sports fan, there’s a premium package for £30.99 a month that will give me access to everything on TNT Sports, which is great.
