Fans of the horror show From will be happy to hear it’s coming back for a fifth season, but unfortunately, this will be the last one.
The future of the MGM+ series starring Harold Perrineau as Sheriff Boyd Stevens has been confirmed by executive producers John Griffin, Jeff Pinker, and Jack Bender. The show centers around a group of people trapped in a terrifying small town plagued by monsters that come out at night.
I’m so thrilled! From just announced on their social media that Season 5 is officially happening! They’ve started working on it and everyone is really excited.
This means we’ll finally get to finish the story. We’ll find out the answers we’ve been looking for, but those answers will likely lead to even more questions. Expect a lot of emotional and frightening moments along the way.
We’d like to thank our friends and partners at MGM+ for their support. We’re also incredibly grateful to our amazing fans – our ‘Fromily’! We’re thrilled to bring you season 4 and hope you enjoy it – it’s just a taste of what’s coming next.

In a recent interview with TopMob, Perrineau shared his excitement and what he’s hoping to see in the upcoming fifth season.
When I started the job, I was told the show was planned to last around five years. However, they were open to finishing it sooner – after four years – or later, potentially extending it to six if needed.
Because it’s lasted longer than I expected – already past four installments – I’m predicting and hoping there will be a fifth, which will likely be the final one.
He expressed hope for a clear ending, not because he’s ready to stop doing the show, but because he wants it to be concise and satisfying. He doesn’t want it to drag on until people lose interest, and instead wants it to be memorable, like a book you’d happily reread.
The last episode of Season 3 ended with a major shock: the identity of the season’s villain, The Man in Yellow, was revealed, and he shockingly killed off Jim Matthews (played by Eion Bailey).
The Man in Yellow also warned us that gaining knowledge isn’t free – it always comes with a price. Considering the people of Fromville are still desperately seeking answers, this is a troubling sign for their future.
From season 4 will arrive in the US on 19 April. From seasons 1-3 are available to stream on NOW.
