This fighting game was originally released in 2002 exclusively for the Nintendo GameCube. It’s important not to confuse this with the Game Boy Advance game, Godzilla: Domination, or its 2004 sequel, Godzilla: Save the Earth, which was released on PlayStation 2 and the original Xbox. If you don’t own a Nintendo GameCube or original Xbox, it’s currently impossible to play Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, as it isn’t available on today’s gaming systems. That’s why this updated version is so welcome. While details are scarce, a recent leak confirms this release will be a remaster – meaning it’s an enhanced version of the original, not a complete rebuild.
