Ghostbusters Day 2026 Auction Launches This Weekend, Features Rare Frozen Empire Medallions

Ghostbusters Day is almost here! The Buffalo Ghostbusters are holding charity auctions for the 2026 celebration, and fans won’t want to miss them. All money raised will go to the FDNY Foundation, and the auctions will include hard-to-find collectibles from the Ghostbusters movies, including Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.

Exciting items up for grabs in the charity auction include props and artwork from Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, donated by Senior Art Director Luke Whitelock with help from Chris Carter of Ghostbusters: The Spirit of ’84 (as reported by Ghostbusters News). These include tiles actually used on set at the Ghostbusters Firehouse, along with unique medallions and prints. You can see a complete list of auction items below.

Everything Available in the Hook & Ladder 8 Fundraiser Auction

A highly sought-after item will be the Frozen Empire Firehouse Print & Set Tile bundle. It includes an 11.7 x 16.5 print created by Luke Whitelock, plus an original framed green tile from the set. Bidding starts at $75, and the winner will receive the item in June. The Firehouse Print is also available for auction separately, with a starting bid of $30.

This year at Ghostbusters Day, you can find a set of five collectible Ghostbusters Mystery Medallions designed by Eric Christenson. They’re usually sold in blind bags, but here’s a chance to get the complete set all at once! Each medallion is 1.5 inches in diameter and comes protected in a plastic capsule. Bidding starts at $65, and you can see what they look like in the images above.

Collectors can also bid on a special Ghostbusters Medallions set. These rare variant medallions usually appear in only one out of every four blind packs, but this auction offers the complete set immediately. Bidding starts at $65.

I’m so excited about the signed copy of Kate McKinnon’s book, The Millicent Quibble School of Etiquette for Young Ladies of Mad Science! It’s a really fun graphic novel for middle-grade readers about three sisters who find their place at a totally quirky academy run by the amazing Millicent Quibb, after getting kicked out of etiquette school. And you can bid on an autographed copy starting at just $40 – it’s a fantastic deal!

The final item being auctioned is a set of three collectible Ghostbusters trading cards. These cards are professionally graded and part of a project created by a Ghostbusters fan known as The Green Haired Ghostbuster. The set includes cards numbered 001 (The Green Haired Ghostbuster), 201 (The Buffalo Ghostbusters), and 208 (The Home Office – Hook & Ladder 8).

You can check out the entire auction right here, and Ghostbusters Day takes place on June 7, 2026.
