As a long-time God of War fan, I was really curious what Santa Monica Studio would do about the, let’s just say adult scenes from the original games when they announced the trilogy remake. A lot of us were wondering! Those scenes were definitely a product of their time and they left them out of the newer games, which was understandable. But T.C. Carson, the original voice of Kratos, has hinted that he thinks they should bring those moments back. He believes they were iconic enough to still be included, and honestly, a part of me agrees. It would be interesting to see how they handle it, if they do!
During a discussion at MegaCon Orlando, a panelist, Carson, was asked if the sexual content from the original God of War games would be included in the upcoming remake. While he couldn’t give a definite answer, Carson indicated that he believed it would be. This is the first time anyone involved with the God of War Trilogy Remake has addressed this topic since the game was announced, despite ongoing questions about it.
God of War Trilogy Remake Still Seems Very Far Away
Although Carson thinks the suggestive mini-games from the original God of War, God of War 2, and God of War 3 will return in the Trilogy Remake, the developers at Santa Monica Studio haven’t actually decided yet. The remake is still in the very early stages of development, and they may not have even discussed how—or if—to include those scenes. Therefore, Carson’s comments might not be accurate when the final game is released.
Currently, there’s no release date for the God of War Trilogy Remake, and PlayStation hasn’t said which consoles it will be available on. However, when it does launch, it will definitely be playable on either the PS5 or the next generation PS6.
