OpenAI listed all of the new Connectors that are part of GPT-5.
The services you can connect depend on the subscription you have:
- ChatGPT Plus users can connect to Box, Canva, Dropbox, HubSpot, Notion, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams
- ChatGPT Pro users can connecttoMicrosoft Teams and Github
With a paid subscription for ChatGPT, there are certain restrictions regarding the use of Connectors. Unfortunately, users based in the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and the United Kingdom are not permitted to utilize Connectors.
Beginning August 11, connectors are being gradually introduced in their beta phase. Accounts that meet the eligibility criteria should be able to utilize them either now or within the following days, as stated by OpenAI.

What is GPT-5?

To be frank, the latest model sometimes finds it challenging to adhere to my instructions, falls short in maintaining a natural transition of tone or subject, and tends to overlook information discussed just moments ago in our conversation.
As a devoted user, I’m excited about the prospect that OpenAI might refine GPT-5 without needing to unveil a completely fresh model. This means the tool I rely on for my creative pursuits could potentially get even better in the future!
A significant number of comments concerning GPT-5 often focus on its abilities for creative tasks or how it seems easy and natural to interact with. According to Vellum, the model consistently delivers impressive results in various tests.
Complaints about GPT-5 commonly revolve around its performance in creative work and how intuitive it feels to use. As explained by Vellum, it scores well across multiple benchmarks.
It seems there might be a widening gap emerging among user groups. Users who predominantly employ GPT-5 for coding or professional tasks appear to favor the latest model, based on anecdotal evidence.
Since GPT-5 is currently undergoing rapid modifications, it will take us some additional time to thoroughly assess its full potential.
GPT-5 update
GPT-5 only launched last week, but it has already received several significant updates.
In simpler terms, when utilizing GPT-5, users now have the option to select among “Automatic”, “Quick”, and “Deep Thought” modes. This update aims to address a significant issue that ChatGPT users had highlighted since the launch of GPT-5.
The GPT-5 model comes in four different versions: GPT-5, Mini, Nano, and Chat. Upon its release, GPT-5 will automatically choose the suitable version for you according to the nature of your question.
For instance, this tool will opt for an energy-saving design to handle straightforward queries, while it may tap into additional resources for more intricate jobs.
Critics argue that the automatic routing system receives backlash because answers from GPT-5 are frequently more concise than what GPT-40 might have provided for similar queries.
OpenAI mentions that the majority of users typically prefer GPT-5 to operate automatically, however, they’ve provided the flexibility for individuals to select their preferred mode of operation if desired.
For ChatGPT Plus subscribers, OpenAI has increased their weekly usage limit to 3,000 messages. Once they reach this limit, they will benefit from the advanced thinking capabilities of GPT-5 and additional capacity on the GPT-Thinking mini service.
Users who pay for the service have the option to select among various models, including some legacy ones. Following user feedback regarding OpenAI retiring older models, they decided to reintroduce the GPT-4o model.
