Guy Fieri Addresses Relationship With Tate Brothers After UFC Fight

Guy Fieri is trying to turn down the heat.

While at the UFC 327 fight in Miami on April 11th, the Food Network star unexpectedly met Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, who are known for their controversial views.

Okay, so a video went viral of Guy shaking hands and hugging those two… those influencers! And honestly, people were NOT happy. There was so much backlash online, it was crazy! But then Guy actually responded and said he doesn’t know them at all! He totally denied having any connection to them, which… I don’t know, I just needed to hear! It was a whole thing, but he said he doesn’t know them, and I believe him! I have to!

Guy Fieri, 58, who is married to Lori Fieri and has two sons, Hunter, 29, and Ryder, 20, explained that he hadn’t met or heard of the people he was referring to until that specific time.

I’m not perfect, but I want to be very clear: I don’t know the Tate brothers, and I definitely don’t support them.

After Guy made his point, Andrew replied with a scene from the movie 300. He showed a clip of the character Ephialtes looking sad and defeated.

For his part, Tristan did not respond to Guy’s statement.

Andrew, 39, and Tristan, 37, are brothers who openly express hatred towards women and have faced accusations of sexual offenses in several countries. Romanian authorities allege they ran a criminal organization that trafficked over 30 women, including one who was 17 years old, as reported by The New York Times.

Andrew is also accused of rape, as well as having sex with and beating a 15-year-old, per the docs.

According to the Times, Andrew and Tristan are facing accusations of rape, human trafficking, and other sexual offenses in the U.K.

Both Andrew and Tristan have denied all allegations against them.
