Guy Ritchie Officially Clarifies MobLand Season 2’s Paramount+ Release Timeline

Fans can look forward to a second season of the popular crime drama MobLand. Director and executive producer Guy Ritchie recently announced the release date, following the completion of filming in March.

During an interview to discuss his upcoming film, In the Grey, Ritchie announced that the second season of MobLand is still planned to debut on Paramount+ in 2026. The first season, which had 10 episodes, aired weekly on the streaming service from March 30th to June 1st, 2025.

MobLand Season 2 Is Coming Before 2027

We’ve completed our work on that series and are finishing it up now,” Ritchie said. “Before the year is out, we’re releasing MobLand, The Gentlemen, and Wife & Dog, along with three or four other projects.

MobLand, created by Ronan Bennett, centers on two rival London crime families – the Harrigans and the Stevensons – locked in a violent struggle with devastating consequences for everyone involved.

Let me tell you, Tom Hardy absolutely owns this role. He plays Harry Da Souza, a seriously charismatic and dangerous ‘fixer’ who’s right in the thick of a brutal power struggle. He understands exactly where everyone’s loyalties really lie when these forces clash. The show’s premise? It’s all about a war between rival factions, and the only rule that matters is family – they’ll protect their own at any cost. It’s a simple, but compelling idea that drives the whole first season.

Tom Hardy leads a stellar cast that includes Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren, who play the leaders of the Harrigan crime family, Conrad and Maeve. Other key actors in the film are Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Janet McTeer, Jordi Mollà, and Toby Jones.

The first season of MobLand is available to stream on Paramount+.
