*Contains minor spoilers for Amandaland season 2.*
The main character in Amandaland isn’t perfect, but she’s incredibly resilient and never gives up, even when facing difficult circumstances.
No matter what goes wrong – whether it’s public embarrassment over an unpaid bill or losing a house to her own mother – Amanda always recovers. Though, her cheerful attitude seems to be getting increasingly forced.
Lucy Punch described herself as someone who works incredibly hard and isn’t afraid of failure, always bouncing back and striving for a fulfilling life, in a recent interview with TopMob.
But will she realise that dream in a third season?
Read on for everything we know so far about a potential Amandaland season 3.
Has Amandaland been renewed for season 3?

The BBC hasn’t said whether it will make more episodes, but the creators are definitely interested in continuing the show.
She told TopMob they plan to continue as long as their audience is engaged, and that they’re committed to developing well-rounded characters that viewers can connect with.

When could a potential Amandaland season 3 be released?
The first two seasons were released in February 2025 and May 2026, so we can expect the third season to come out sometime in the first half of 2027, if everything goes according to plan.
Which cast could return for a potential Amandaland season 3?
Lucy Punch would obviously return as Amanda. We’d also expect to see:
- Joanna Lumley as Felicity
- Philippa Dunne as Anne
- Samuel Anderson as Mal
- Rochenda Sandall as Fi
- Ekow Quartey as JJ
The cast also includes Miley Locke as Georgie, Alexander Shaw as Manus, Jack Veal as Darius, Anya Mckenna-Bruce as Morten, Archie Smith as Ned, and Cavan Clerkin as Daniel Kichen.
We can also expect some exciting new guest stars. Past seasons have featured well-known actors like Jennifer Saunders and Pam Ferris.
It’s unclear what will happen with Siobhan McSweeney’s character, Della, as she plans to start a restaurant in Miami. Also, it’s currently unknown if Harriet Webb will reprise her role as Abs, who used to be with Mal and is now with JJ.

As a total TV fanatic, I’ve been following Abby Robinson’s work for a while now – she’s the Drama Editor over at TopMob, and really knows her stuff when it comes to TV dramas and comedies. Before that, she was writing about TV at Digital Spy and creating content for Mumsnet. She’s clearly got a strong background in writing too, with both a degree and a postgraduate diploma in English Studies.
