With Death in Paradise confirmed for two more seasons, attention is now turning to its spin-off, Beyond Paradise.

The fourth season of the show starring Kris Marshall finished airing tonight, May 1st. While some storylines were resolved, the show isn’t ending, and the actors are eager to return for future seasons.

Zahra Ahmadi shared with TopMob in early March that she and the team really enjoy making the show, and fans they meet consistently express their love for it. She jokingly added that, naturally, people who dislike the show wouldn’t go out of their way to tell her so.

She went on to explain that when people approach her, they’re not just casually mentioning it. They often express genuine excitement and she can tell it’s truly meaningful to them. Everyone has those special shows that really resonate with them and bring them joy.

I really hope it continues, but we’re still waiting to find out. Everyone’s keeping their fingers crossed!

TV Zone recently said everything seems ready for another season, but the BBC hasn’t confirmed whether “Beyond Paradise” will be back for more episodes.

We didn’t get confirmation about season 4 until July, but season 3 was renewed right after its finale. So, news about a new season could come quickly, or it might take some time.

When could Beyond Paradise season 5 be released?

If approved, we anticipate a new Christmas special this year, with more episodes coming after season 16 of Death in Paradise finishes filming, likely in February or March 2027.

Who could return for a potential Beyond Paradise season 5?

In addition to Kris Marshall as DI Humphrey Goodman and Sally Bretton as Martha Lloyd, we anticipate the return of these actors to the show:

Okay, so Humphrey’s back as the detective inspector now that that awful Mr. Smith is finally gone. But honestly, the show leaves us hanging a bit – we’re still in the dark about what’s going on with his personal life, and I, for one, am eager to find out where that story goes.

They bought a house together last season, and it’s already needed some work, like a new roof. Now, after a break from fostering, are they planning to expand their family?

Kelby and Esther are both happily in relationships, but it’s unclear how things will be between them when we see them again.
