
IO Interactive is adding a new free update to *Hitman World of Assassination* featuring a new Elusive Target called The Infiltrator. This time, Agent 47 will team up with martial arts legend Bruce Lee to infiltrate a martial arts tournament and find the target. A trailer showcasing the update is available below.
All players of *Hitman World of Assassination* can now access The Elusive Target for free until November 20th. At the same time, IO Interactive launched the Bruce Lee Pack, which includes classic items like the Yellow Jumpsuit, Kali Sticks, Jade Dagger, and Golden Dragon Scissors. The pack also features a special two-level Arcade contract with The Infiltrator as the Elusive Target, and cosmetic items for your Safehouse in Freelancer mode.
The Elusive Target mission features Bruce Lee as Agent Lee, tasked with taking down a dangerous criminal organization called the Concord Union, which operates out of Hong Kong. He goes undercover at a secret martial arts tournament held at the Himmapan Hotel in Bangkok. To complete his mission, Agent Lee must win the tournament and expose the leader of the Concord Union.
Throughout the mission, players take on the role of Agent 47 and must find and eliminate anyone trying to stop Lee from succeeding in the tournament. This mission offers a unique change of pace for Agent 47, shifting him from a direct attacker to a silent protector ensuring Lee’s safety and progress.
The new mission introduces several fresh gameplay features. Players can now change the order of matches to affect the tournament’s outcome. They can also indirectly impact the competition by altering equipment or creating problems for Lee’s rivals using the environment to their advantage.
The new mission is full of nods to Bruce Lee’s movies, including his iconic yellow jumpsuit from *Game of Death*, and other hidden details within the Himmapan Hotel level. According to the game studio, IO Interactive, they put a lot of effort into respectfully and admiringly honoring Lee’s lasting impact with this mission.
The most recent big crossover event for *Hitman World of Assassination* was in June, featuring a mission to eliminate Le Chiffre, the villain from *Casino Royale*. Mads Mikkelsen, who played Le Chiffre in the 2006 film, returned for the mission, which took place on a redesigned version of the Paris level from the original *Hitman* game in the recent trilogy.
IO Interactive is also developing their next big title, *007: First Light*, scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on March 27, 2026.
