I’m so excited! PlayStation Plus is getting a bunch of new games, and the biggest one is definitely Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered! It’s coming on April 21st for anyone with an Extra or Premium subscription. Just a heads-up for those of us still on PS4 – we’ll be getting the Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition instead, which is awesome too!
There are also several other exciting games coming soon, including The Casting of Frank Stone, a story-driven adventure connected to the world of Dead by Daylight; The Crew Motorfest, a Hawaiian racing game similar to Forza Horizon; and Football Manager 26 Console. Plus, you can enjoy indie games like Monster Train and Squirrel with a Gun, or try Warriors: Abyss, a fast-paced action game from Koei Tecmo.
The selection of classic games is limited, with Premium members currently able to play Wild Arms 4. This PlayStation 2 game, released in 2006, differs from earlier Wild Arms titles and received somewhat mixed reviews. Like other classic games available, it includes modern improvements like better graphics, customizable filters, rewind, and quick save features.
A new PlayStation State of Play event is expected around April 16th, and we might hear about even more games and benefits coming to PlayStation Plus. Keep an eye out for the latest news, and don’t forget to check out the games currently available with your PlayStation Plus Essential subscription.
