The mobile game Inazuma Eleven: Cross will be released on iOS and Android devices in Japan this June. Publisher LEVEL-5 and developer Aiming have announced that pre-registration is now open.
Here’s a summary of the game, as explained by LEVEL-5 CEO Akihiro Hino at today’s LEVEL-5 Vision 2026 Craftsmanship event.
Cross is a mobile game built for quick and easy play, with simple controls that let you jump in whenever and wherever you are. Explore the world of Inazuma during your downtime – at school, work, or while traveling. We’re developing Cross with Aiming Inc., combining our teams’ strengths to create the best possible mobile game. A recent beta test received great feedback, and we’re now making final improvements based on what players told us.
Meet Yo Shiosawa, the new main character in this fresh story! Similar to a coach in Victory Road, Yo manages the team from the sidelines, but he has a very different personality. He joins Inazuma National to find out what happened to his missing brother. Get ready for a thrilling Inazumastyle adventure in Cross*! Create your dream team and unravel a captivating mystery.
The game focuses on strategic thinking – you plan your approach and then watch it play out, instead of directly controlling the characters. You’ll also make progress even when you’re not actively playing, letting you enjoy the game at your own speed. Collect and build a dream team of characters! You can unlock new players as you advance and through special events, so feel free to build your squad gradually.
