Microsoft is currently experiencing a significant outage affecting its Microsoft 365 services in North America. This is causing issues with apps like Outlook, Purview, and Defender.
Microsoft has confirmed that some of its North American servers aren’t working correctly, causing issues with processing requests. They are actively working to fix the problem and restore full service.
Microsoft released a statement over two hours ago explaining they are working to restore service. They’re currently redirecting traffic to stabilize their systems and are moving as fast as they can. This will also help them figure out what else needs to be done to fully recover.
We’re still seeing reports of service disruptions in North America, preventing some users from accessing their email and other services. Our team has found the cause and is working on a solution, so things should be back to normal shortly.
We’ll keep you updated on when Microsoft confirms services are back at full operation.
