Tati Gabrielle is doing media for the Mortal Kombat 2 movie, where she plays Jade.
I wasn’t at all shocked to see that IGN asked her about her part in ‘Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet’! She’s playing the main character, Jordan A. Mun, and I’m so excited to see what she does with the role.
Gabrielle handled the question like a pro, offering a hint about the upcoming title without giving away too much. She suggested it will showcase a new and unexpected aspect of the Naughty Dog team.
Here’s the quote in full:
I can’t wait for fans to experience everything! I’m thrilled to be playing myself in the game. I think it shows a really different side of Naughty Dog that people are going to love. It looks like the team really pushed their boundaries with the game’s world. That’s all I’ll say for now, but I’m incredibly excited about it.
Although she’s not very talkative, this statement has definitely caught our attention. It seems she’s suggesting that the new Intergalactic game will feel quite different from games like Uncharted and The Last of Us, and that’s really promising.
Uncharted was known for its adventurous and upbeat tone, taking place in exciting locations around the world. In contrast, The Last of Us was much more realistic and somber. It will be fascinating to see how Naughty Dog approaches this new science fiction story.
We’re really intrigued by what she said about creating the world this story takes place in. We only know the basics: her character, Gabrielle, is a bounty hunter who arrives on a planet called Sempiria while pursuing a criminal group known as the ‘Five Aces’. That’s all we’ve learned so far!
Sempiria is a planet with a dark secret – no one has ever managed to leave. That makes experiencing the story through the main character’s perspective especially captivating. The mysteries of the planet – what lies beneath the surface and why escape is impossible – are incredibly intriguing.
The game is allegedly planned to release in 2027, so we’re extremely excited to learn more about it.
