Kevin Hart and Ice Cube’s Action Comedy Finds a New Streaming Home 11 Years Later

The popular action comedy series starring Ice Cube and Kevin Hart will be available on a new streaming service starting in November. Before teaming up in the 2014 hit *Ride Along*, directed by Tim Story, both actors were already well-known stars. Their great chemistry led to a sequel, *Ride Along 2*, in 2016. While fans anticipate a third movie, they’ll soon be able to enjoy the first two films as they move from Netflix to a different platform.

Starting November 1st, you’ll be able to watch both *Ride Along* and *Ride Along 2* on Hulu. These buddy cop comedies, starring Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, are moving from another streaming service to Hulu. Ice Cube became known for comedy after starring in films like *Friday* and *Boyz n the Hood*, building on his successful career as a rapper and songwriter.

Ice Cube and Kevin Hart’s Ride Along Movies Head to Hulu

I’m so excited to see what’s coming to Hulu in November 2025! They just announced the full list, and it looks fantastic. Alongside some fun movies like *Ride Along* and *Ride Along 2*, they’re adding classics like *Casino*, *A Knight’s Tale*, *The Interview*, *The Juror*, *Neighbors*, and even *Labyrinth*! It’s a really great mix of titles, and I know a lot of us Hulu subscribers will be enjoying these as we get ready for Thanksgiving.

In the comedy *Ride Along*, Ice Cube plays James, a seasoned police officer who finds his life turned upside down when he’s stuck with Ben (Kevin Hart), an overeager security guard. Ben is trying to become a police officer and is also dating James’s sister, Angela (Tika Sumpter). James reluctantly agrees to take Ben on a ride-along, hoping to convince him that police work isn’t for him. But their night takes an unexpected turn when they stumble into a case involving Atlanta’s most dangerous criminal.

In *Ride Along 2*, Ben is now a new police officer, but he still dreams of becoming a detective like his brother-in-law, James. As Ben and Angela prepare for their wedding, James brings Ben to Miami to assist with a case involving a drug operation.

I’m still hoping for another *Ride Along* movie! From what I’ve heard, they *were* planning a third one, but things have been tricky. Both Kevin Hart and Ice Cube are super busy with other projects, and then the strikes last year really put everything on hold. It’s a bit frustrating, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it eventually happens.

Ride Along and Ride Along 2 will be available to stream on Hulu starting Nov. 1.
