Kim Kardashian Reveals Mason Disick’s Role in Psalm’s 7th Birthday

As a lifestyle expert, I always appreciate family making an effort, and it was so sweet to see Mason Disick, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s 16-year-old son, really get into the spirit of things! He was a total good sport, happily dressing up as Pikachu for his younger cousin’s Pokémon-themed seventh birthday party. It just shows how much love there is in the family when someone will do something fun like that for a little one’s special day.

I’m a huge Kim Kardashian fan, and it’s no surprise she went above and beyond for her kids’ event! As everyone knows, she shares Psalm, North (who’s 12 now!), Saint, who’s 10, and 8-year-old Chicago with Kanye West, and she always makes sure everything is extra special for them.

On May 14th, Kim shared a playful video on her Instagram Story, jokingly calling her son Mason “Pikachu” and saying, “Gimme a hug, Pikachu!”

Kim shared more photos on Instagram of the Pokémon-themed party, showing the house decorated with Pokémon ball balloons. The backyard featured giant trading cards and cutouts of different Pokémon, and the cake continued the theme with matching designs.

She quipped, “Pokemon Psalm!”

The star of All’s Fair also had a special hat-decorating station where guests could create their own caps, inspired by Ash Ketchum from Pokémon. One hat made for Psalm included his name, a red chain, and four Pokémon characters: Pikachu, Snorlax, Squirtle, and Charmander.

Even though Mason was the only one dressed in costume, he wasn’t the only family member at Psalm’s party. Khloe Kardashian’s daughter, True Thompson, age 8, and Rob Kardashian’s daughter, Dream Kardashian, age 9, were also there celebrating with Psalm.

Beyond the party, Kim paid tribute to her youngest child in a post on his actual birthday on May 9.

She shared a heartfelt birthday message, writing about seven years of love and daily learning from her son, Psalm. She expressed immense pride in his kindness, intelligence, and unique personality, wishing him a day full of Pokémon and dirt bikes. She ended with a loving message, calling him her ‘forever baby’ and wishing him a happy birthday.
