I’m excited to share that King of the Hill is officially returning this Summer with a new season on Hulu! It’s been fantastic to see how well the revival has been received – both longtime fans and new viewers seem to love it. In fact, it’s been such a success that Hulu has already renewed the show for three more seasons! It’s really one of the best TV revivals we’ve seen in a while.
The revival of King of the Hill is officially coming to Hulu on July 20th with Season 15. Previously, Hulu had announced plans for Seasons 16 and 17 as well. To get a sneak peek at what’s in store, check out the first look at the new season below!
King of the Hill Reboot Confirms Hulu Release Date for Season 15

The fifteenth season of King of the Hill is coming to Hulu on July 20th. Like the first season of the revival, it will probably have ten episodes. The new season will follow Hank and Peggy as they adjust to retirement and try to keep the peace on Rainey Street. Meanwhile, Bobby will be balancing old friendships with the challenges of starting his own business. The storylines will continue where the first revival season left off.
This first look at King of the Hill Season 15 highlights Kahn Souphanousinphone, who has been recast and will have a much larger role than in the initial revival episodes. Since he’s a key character, it appears he’ll be featured prominently going forward. We also notice chickens surrounding Boomhauer, hinting at a possible new business venture similar to the hog-shooting scheme from the previous season.
Will Luanne Return in King of the Hill Season 15?

As a huge King of the Hill fan, I was really disappointed that Luanne and Lucky weren’t included at all in the first season of the revival – not even a mention! Before the show came back, we heard they’d found a way to honor Brittany Murphy’s character after her passing, but we haven’t seen that happen yet. I’m hoping we’ll finally get some kind of tribute in the next season, if it’s going to happen at all, and it’s making me look closely at the new poster for any clues!
Fans spotted a fresh glimpse of Big Tex, the famous Texas festival icon who played a role in a beloved King of the Hill episode from Season 8, “Girl, You’ll Be a Giant Soon.” This feels like a great chance for Hank to reminisce about that moment and perhaps mention Luanne, finally revealing what’s happened with her since the original series ended.
