Law Roach has got a secret and he can keep it.
Okay, so everyone’s buzzing about the Met Gala! As a stylist, I couldn’t help but notice a major sparkler on one of my celebrity clients’ finger. He was definitely flashing a huge diamond ring, and when asked about it, he was being super mysterious about who gave it to him – talk about keeping us guessing! It was the talk of the night, honestly.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Law jokingly hinted that he might be engaged, saying, ‘I think the secret is on my finger.’ He then added that he and his sister both value their privacy and prefer to keep things to themselves.
The 47-year-old, dressed in a unique white suit designed by Ami and hand-painted by Naïla Opiangah to fit the “Fashion Is Art” theme, kept details to a minimum when speaking with Vogue, simply stating, “He did well.” (You can find photos of all the celebrities at the Met Gala here.)
“It’s from The Vibe Diamonds,” Law added, “and I definitely couldn’t afford this by myself.”
Zendaya’s stylist confirmed the diamond ring was a gift, but he didn’t say whether it was given during a proposal.
“I don’t know,” he quipped. “I can’t say.”
Although Law didn’t share many details about his personal life this time, he’s spoken openly before about not actively seeking a romantic relationship.
I was really struck by what Law said in his interview with Keke Palmer and Normani. He explained that while a lot of people dream of finding ‘the one’ – someone to complete them or just hold close – he’s never actually wanted that kind of relationship. It’s a really different perspective, and it honestly resonated with me.
He explained that he felt destined to be admired and loved in a special way by others.
But of course, that didn’t mean he was closing the door to love completely.
While I’m open to the possibility of being with a very wealthy man, even a billionaire, it just never felt like my purpose in life. And that’s perfectly fine. Just like not all women want to be mothers, it simply wasn’t my path.
