Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez, made a striking appearance at the 2026 Met Gala after getting married last July.
Lauren wore a stunning gown by Schiaparelli, designed by Daniel Roseberry, but her husband chose not to have his picture taken on the red carpet.

Lauren revealed in March that she and her partner would be honorary co-chairs of the party, along with host Anna Wintour and co-chairs Nicole Kidman, Beyoncé, and Venus Williams. They had previously attended the gala together in 2024.
Lauren shared on Today how thrilled she was when Anna asked her to co-chair and sponsor the Met Gala. She described it as a really fun and rewarding opportunity.
Fortunately, that experience gave the author of The Fly Who Flew Under the Sea valuable knowledge about the “Costume Art” theme and the “Fashion is Art” dress code.
The 56-year-old explained the event’s central idea: that fashion is a form of art. She described the designers as genuine artists, pointing out that Elsa Schiaparelli and Salvador Dalí were close friends, with Dalí expressing his creativity through painting and Schiaparelli through clothing.
