LeAnn Rimes Postpones Multiple Concerts Due to “Severe Illness”

LeAnn Rimes needs you to understand she’s trying to get better. 

The country singer has postponed two shows on her 30 Years of Blue Tour to get better after coming down with a serious illness.

She announced on Instagram on April 29th that she can’t travel or perform this week. She apologized and said that her shows in Spokane and Seattle will be rescheduled, but promised fans she’ll be back on stage soon!

Okay, so LeAnn just had to reschedule her Washington shows to May 31st in Spokane and June 2nd in Seattle, and honestly, I’m a little bummed, but I totally get it. She knows some of us are going to be upset about the change, and she’s probably feeling bad about it too, but I’ll still be there! I just need to rearrange a few things, that’s all. I’m just so excited to finally see her live!

I’m really sorry to have to postpone things, and I so appreciate all your support and understanding as I get better,” the singer said. “I can’t wait to be back performing and see everyone soon.

LeAnn Rimes has been largely confined to bed due to illness, as she revealed in an Instagram Story on April 28th with a photo of herself surrounded by tissues.

“I don’t know exactly what I have, but it’s BRUTAL!” she wrote. “Haven’t left the bed.” 

And unfortunately, it’s not the only hardship she’s been dealing with lately. 

Although LeAnn Rimes didn’t share the specific challenges she and her husband were facing, she said they were supporting each other as they dealt with life’s ups and downs together.

Oh my gosh, hearing her say that just kills me! It’s everything I’ve always wanted for them! She said it’s with each other – like they’re a team, navigating everything life throws at them. They just get each other, you know? They support each other when things get tough and fix what’s broken. I’m seriously bursting with pride over what they’ve built together. Fifteen years, can you believe it? And she said it’s just the beginning! It gives me chills just thinking about it! They’re perfect, absolutely perfect!

Singer LeAnn Rimes, known for her song “I Need You,” recently shared that she and her husband, Eddie Cibrian, faced difficulties around the time of their 15th wedding anniversary.

She shared on Instagram on April 23rd that they had taken a three-day break from work and difficult family issues. While the anniversary was marked by sadness and concern, they also found moments of joy and were grateful for their relationship.

Although LeAnn Rimes didn’t share specific details about the challenges she and her husband were facing, she said they were supporting each other as they dealt with life’s ups and downs together.

Honestly, seeing them together just fills me with happiness. They really get each other – they know how to navigate life’s ups and downs as a team, supporting each other through everything, and always working to fix things when they need to. I’m so incredibly proud of the beautiful life they’ve built together, and it feels like their story is only just beginning after 15 amazing years.

During a soccer game against the Seattle Reign on September 14th at Lumen Field in Seattle, a midfielder for Racing Louisville collapsed after only a few minutes of play.

According to Reuters, the U.S. Women’s National Team player was seen slowly sitting down on the field with a teammate supporting her, before suddenly collapsing. Trainers were immediately called to assess her condition.

The National Women’s Soccer League reported that Savannah received immediate medical attention on the field and was taken to a nearby hospital for more tests. They stated she is currently in stable condition and is alert.

Adam Devine revealed that injuries from being hit by a cement truck at age 11 continue to cause him problems even now.

“It’s been a really difficult time,” Devine shared on the In Depth With Graham Bensinger podcast in 2025. “I’ve been experiencing spasms all over my body, and doctors actually told me last year that my condition was life-threatening.”

He explained that his pain is intermittent, saying, “My body has a few quirks and isn’t quite working as it should.”

A former contestant on The Bachelor went to the hospital because of severe back pain. He said the pain was so bad he had to crawl on his hands and knees, and it got worse during a road trip with a friend.

He described a lingering tingling sensation in his knees and toes during a March 2025 episode of his podcast, Trading Secrets. In an Instagram post, she explained that she was accidentally shot in the face by someone at a party. They fired a weapon unsafely, and the bullet struck her. Thankfully, @thebrendanrooney quickly helped, checked her condition, and drove her to the hospital. She was hit five times, with one bullet narrowly missing her right eye by less than an inch.

The former Kim Possible star shared that a small piece of something got stuck behind her eye. Doctors have advised against removing it with surgery right now, but they will keep a close watch on her vision, which is currently normal.

The actress expressed immense gratitude for surviving. She shared her deep love for her daughters, husband, family, and friends, explaining that she’d had a near-death experience. She urged everyone to cherish their loved ones and hug them often, emphasizing how quickly life can change.

While the internet isn’t always a kind place, Amy Schumer is happy that, in this case, it helped her get answers.

“The internet really came for me after doing a bunch of press, and I was like, ‘OK everybody, relax,'” Amy recalled of her “puffier” face on a January 2025 episode of Call Her Daddy. “But then doctors were chiming in in the comments and they were like, ‘No no, we think something’s really up. “I had a breast reduction, a C-section, whatever, and so I was getting these steroid injections,” Amy said. “So it gave me this thing called Cushing syndrome, which I wouldn’t have known if the internet hadn’t come for me so hard.”

Toda, Amy is just relieved she’s OK. As she shared in a February 2024 News Not Noise newsletter, “Finding out I have the kind of Cushing that will just work itself out and I’m healthy was the greatest news imaginable.”

Later, they discovered she had a hole in her heart, a PFO, which is how the clot had gotten to her brain in the first place. She explained the clot had actually ‘escaped’ through the hole! I was so relieved to hear she had a successful procedure to close the PFO and is now doing great. It was a scary time, but I’m so glad she’s recovered!

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the rest of his Justice World Tour.

In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained the virus affected nerves in his ear and face, preventing him from blinking, smiling, or moving his nostril on the affected side. He also shared that it had become increasingly difficult to eat. Thankfully, the paralysis eventually went away.

Hailey shared on Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well and feeling much better. She described the situation as scary and unexpected, but expressed gratitude that he was going to be okay.

Jamie Foxx recently shared details about the serious health scare he experienced in April 2023, which he had initially kept private. In his 2024 Netflix special, What Had Happened Was…, he explained that he was suffering from a severe headache when he suddenly lost consciousness. He doesn’t remember the next 20 days.

Initially, a doctor gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his sister, Deidra Dixon, became concerned and took him to the hospital. Doctors discovered he had a brain bleed that resulted in a stroke.

After surgery, Jamie woke up in a wheelchair on May 4th, unable to walk. He then traveled to Chicago for extensive rehabilitation and therapy. He expressed deep gratitude for the prayers he received, saying he needed every single one.

The reality TV star said she briefly stopped breathing while running a mile during the first challenge on the NBC show.
