TT Games seems to be doing everything right with their new LEGO Batman game, Legacy of the Dark Knight.
From the start, this seemed like a clever way to move the series forward. The development team clearly put a lot of effort into it, but managed to do so while maintaining a unified and consistent feel.
The new Batcave in this game is a great example of how you can personalize your experience. It will evolve and expand as you play and advance through the story.
The game starts small, but you’ll gradually improve and grow your base into the advanced, futuristic headquarters that players expect.
Plus, you can personalize it with lots of fun decorations and props, and even create themed areas like a diner, library, or control center.
You can also see a huge collection of Batman’s different costumes, and you’ll earn trophies of the villains you encounter, which will be displayed in the Batcave.
Your collection of Batmobiles and Batcycles will have a space in this area as well.
The PlayStation Blog also highlights the tools and gadgets Batman and other characters have access to, explaining that these can be improved as you play, making them even more powerful. Players can practice with these upgraded gadgets in the Batcave by creating custom training scenarios.
It sounds great, and we’re looking forward to diving in.
