CI Games has just dropped a new trailer for Lords of the Fallen 2, their upcoming action RPG inspired by the Souls series. The trailer shows off more of the game’s story and how it plays, and confirms it will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, the Epic Games Store, and Steam all at the same time. You can watch it below!
The new trailer also highlights that players can now add Lords of the Fallen 2 to their wishlists on all online stores, no matter which gaming platform they use.
The new trailer confirms that Lords of the Fallen 2 won’t be exclusive to the Epic Games Store. This follows the studio’s recent announcement that they ended their publishing deal with Epic Games, originally signed in 2024. Importantly, this change doesn’t affect the game’s development, as CI Games is still using Unreal Engine 5.
As a big fan of the first Lords of the Fallen, I was so excited when the sequel was announced in August 2025! CI Games has said it’s going to build on the story we already know, which is awesome. Apparently, the Lightbearer will be back, continuing to fight against the darkness. It sounds like things have gotten even worse in the world between games – the Umbra has become seriously powerful and will probably be the main enemy we’re facing this time around. I can’t wait!
