A popular anime series known for its ‘isekai’ (another world) theme is returning for a second season after a three-year wait. A first glimpse of the new season has been released. Isekai anime remains incredibly popular, with many new shows appearing each season and year. Because there are so many, some excellent series don’t get the attention they deserve, including one about a person who is reborn and chooses to live a peaceful life as a farmer.
The anime series Farming Life in Another World, known for its relaxing story about starting a new life in another world, will return for a second season this April. A new trailer and poster have been released to celebrate the upcoming premiere this Spring.
Farming Life in Another World Season 2 Premieres April 2026
The second season of Farming Life in Another World, based on the novels by Kinosuke Naito and Yasumo, is scheduled to premiere in April 2026. While a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet, it will initially stream on Prime Video in Japan. International streaming plans are still to come. Fans can currently watch the first season on HIDIVE, and the second season may also become available there this spring.
The second season of Farming Life in Another World is getting a new opening theme song, “It’s a beautiful story,” performed by Shino Shimoji and Aya Suzaki (who also voice the characters Lu and Tia). Yui Hizuki will sing the ending theme, “Sunny Steps.” Many of the original voice actors are returning, including Atsushi Abe as Hiraku Machio, Shino Shimoji as Lu, Aya Suzaki as Tia, Lynn as Lea, and Miyu Tomita as Flora, among others.
What’s New for Farming Life in Another World?

The original voice actors from season one are back, and they’ll be joined by several new characters in the upcoming season, including Natsu Yorita as Rashashi, Misaki Watada as Igu, Hiyori Kono as Mamu, Mariko Higashiuchi as Gruwald, Toru Sakurai as Gordon, and Genta Nakamura as Narf. Ryoichi Kuraya is returning to direct Farming Life in Another World Season 2 at Zero-G, and will also be taking over scriptwriting duties from Toko Machida.
Yoshiko Saito is back as the character designer, with Pony Canyon producing the series, and Yasuharu Takanashi and Johannes Nilsson returning to compose the music. While Farming Life in Another World may not be on everyone’s list of must-watch spring anime, it’s definitely worth checking out.
