Sony has taken up the role of the publisher for “Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls,” a game developed by Arc System Works, known for their exceptional fighting games. With Sony’s support, there is much anticipation about what Arc System Works will create. However, some fans might be disappointed that they may not be able to play Marvel’s upcoming fighting game due to Sony’s involvement with “Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls.
It seems that Sony, the publisher of the game Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, has adopted a pattern in its multiplayer games by requiring a PlayStation Network (PSN) account for purchase. Unfortunately, some regions don’t support PSN, leading many fans to be unable to buy and play Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls.
Fans are understandably upset because this isn’t the first time Sony has required a PSN account for their games. For instance, many of their single-player and multiplayer titles demand one. Helldivers 2 is one such example, although Sony retracted this requirement after implementing it post-launch. However, they’ve since softened their stance on this issue for single-player games.

Given the past actions of Sony in similar circumstances, and taking into account the multiplayer aspect of Marvel’s Tony Fighting Souls, it appears unlikely that they will change their decision. However, fans might be able to create enough conversation that Sony feels compelled to take notice, as they did with Helldivers 2. Although it seems improbable, it’s still worth a shot.
The game “Marvel vs. Capcom: Fighting Spirit” has created a significant buzz, and it would truly be disappointing if some gamers missed out on the fun. Here’s hoping Sony reconsiders its decision since Arc System Works developed the game, but Sony is just the publisher. Whether this restriction will change is yet to be determined. Fans should mentally prepare themselves for this limitation to persist.
