Marvel Studios has released a new poster and short video clip for its upcoming series, Marvel Zombies, giving fans a better view of the zombie version of Marvel characters. The poster features these heroes with glowing red eyes, and the video suggests a desperate struggle to survive against a zombie outbreak.
New Marvel Zombies poster and TV spot highlight MCU’s undead
I’m so hyped for Marvel Zombies! They just dropped a new poster and a short TV spot, and it looks incredible. The poster features these really creepy, zombified versions of our favorite heroes – Hawkeye is covered in arrows, Captain America looks totally wrecked, and they all have these glowing red eyes. They’re all circling this mysterious, bright figure in the sky. The whole thing is set against this fiery orange city, and honestly, it’s giving me chills! You can see the Marvel Animation and Disney+ logos at the bottom, so it’s definitely real. I can’t wait to see it on Disney+!
Marvel Studios announced the upcoming animated series *Marvel Zombies* on X (formerly Twitter). The four-part event will premiere on Disney+ on September 24th. They shared an image and a short teaser clip, both asking who will survive the zombie outbreak.
Bryan Andrews, the showrunner and director, has revealed that *Marvel Zombies* will be a four-episode animated series intended for mature audiences. He recently told Collider he hopes the show still has some surprises for viewers, implying that key plot details haven’t been widely publicized yet.
Brad Winderbaum, head of Marvel Television and Animation, revealed that the new series connects directly to the “What If… Zombies?!” episode from Season 1 of *What If…?*, describing it as a prelude to a larger, year-long story. According to Winderbaum, the series takes place in the same universe, and watching the “What If…?” episode beforehand will give viewers a different perspective. (via Entertainment Weekly)
