
He-Man and The Masters of the Universe are back on the big screen.
As a huge fan, I’m so excited to see all the classic heroes teaming up again! It’s awesome that Teela, Man-At-Arms, Battle Cat, and the rest of the crew are joining forces to protect Eternia from Skeletor and the wicked Evil-Lyn. It’s everything I hoped for!
The long-awaited new version of the story focuses on Prince Adam as he grapples with the pressures of being a man in the world of Eternia, all while trying to save his kingdom from the over-the-top villain, Skeletor.

Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man/Prince Adam

He-Man is actually Prince Adam, the good-hearted future king of Eternia. When trouble arises, he uses the Sword of Power to transform into the powerful hero known as He-Man, famously declaring, “By the Power of Grayskull, I have the power!”
You might recognize Nicholas Galitzine from movies like The Sheep Detectives, Red, White & Royal Blue, 100 Nights of Hero, The Idea of You, and Bottoms. He’s a British actor who’s been in a variety of films.
Camila Mendes as Teela

Teela is a strong and capable warrior who leads the Royal Guard of Eternia. She was raised by Duncan, also known as Man-At-Arms, and is considered his adopted daughter. Teela is known for being clever and skilled in combat, and she shares a close bond with Adam.
You probably recognize Camila Mendes from her role as Veronica Lodge on the popular TV show Riverdale. She’s also appeared in the movies Palm Springs, Do Revenge, and Upgraded.
Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-At-Arms

Duncan, also known as Man-At-Arms, is a brave and skilled military leader. He’s a strong fighter and a trusted friend of He-Man, serving as one of the top warriors in King Randor’s forces.
You probably recognize Idris Elba from shows like Luther, Hijack, and The Wire, or as Heimdall in the Marvel movies.
Jared Leto as Skeletor

Skeletor is one of the most famous villains in science fiction and fantasy. This incredibly evil and power-hungry sorcerer is He-Man’s greatest enemy, and he’s been trying to become the true Master of the Universe for centuries.
You might recognize Jared Leto from movies like Requiem for a Dream, Tron: Ares, and Suicide Squad. He’s been in a number of films!
Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn

Evil-Lyn is a powerful and wicked witch who helps Skeletor try to conquer the universe. She’s one of his most powerful allies, known as a key member of the Evil Warriors.
Many people recognize Allison Brie from her roles in the TV series Community and GLOW. She’s also appeared in popular films like The LEGO Movie and Together.
James Purefoy as King Randor

King Randor was the strong and fair leader of Eternia before Skeletor attacked.
I’m a huge fan of James Purefoy! You might recognize him from a lot of different things. I first noticed him in ‘The Following,’ but he’s also been fantastic in shows like ‘Hap and Leonard’ and ‘Altered Carbon.’ Plus, he’s been in some great movies like ‘Solomon Kane’ and ‘John Carter,’ so he’s definitely someone I always enjoy seeing on screen.
Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena Glenn

Queen Marlena Glenn is the Queen of Eternia, married to Randor and the mother of He-Man. Originally an astronaut from Earth, she uniquely connects He-Man to both Eternia and our world.
You might recognize Charlotte Riley from her appearances in popular shows like Peaky Blinders, Trust, and Trying. She’s also been in films such as Edge of Tomorrow and London Has Fallen.
Morena Baccarin as the Sorceress

The Sorceress is a powerful magic user and the protector of Castle Grayskull. Her title clearly reflects her role and abilities.
Many people recognize Morena Baccarin from her work in the Deadpool movies, as well as the television series Firefly and Homeland.
