Fans of both Mega Man and Sonic will soon be able to race as the Blue Bomber! Mega Man is coming to Sonic Racing CrossWorlds as a downloadable character.
We found a Season Pass insert in early copies of the new SEGA racing game (which we previewed this week). It confirms that characters from Minecraft, Pac-Man, SpongeBob, Avatar, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be playable as guest additions.
The document also hints at the inclusion of Mega Man, a famous character from Capcom’s platforming games, in the game.
Multiple sources have confirmed this, and the Sonic Stadium fansite has gathered much of the supporting information.
The game’s box also features an image of NiGHTS, confirming the character’s appearance and connection to the classic Sonic Team.
We’ve long hoped SEGA would add more classic characters to the game, similar to the impressive lineup in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, and this news suggests they’re moving in that direction.
