Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird are continuing on their legendary paths separately.

Ten years after first meeting while training for the 2016 Rio Olympics – Megan with the U.S. women’s soccer team and Sue with the women’s basketball team – the couple announced the end of their relationship in a touching message.

Megan and Sue announced on Instagram on April 17th that they have decided to separate. In a joint statement, they explained it was a difficult decision made with a lot of love, respect, and care for one another.
