SEGA is working hard to give Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds players lots of exciting things to enjoy in the new release.
Just after the popular Hatsune Miku Festival, where fans could earn special prizes, the publisher announced that characters from Minecraft – including Steve and Alex – will be added to the game on October 8th.
To unlock the new characters, you’ll need the Season Pass, which is included with the Digital Deluxe Edition. However, everyone can join the Minecraft Festival beginning October 9th.
Some fans are arguing that these promotional periods may be coming a little too fast.
Despite everything, it’s obvious SEGA is planning significant ongoing support for its kart racing game, with new characters like Pac-Man and Mega Man scheduled to be added.
I’m really hoping this game does well enough for them to release a second Season Pass! There are so many characters I’d love to unlock and play as, and it would be awesome if they added more.
I’m really enjoying this game! It’s quickly become a favorite, and honestly, it’s a fantastic option for those of us on PlayStation who’ve been missing out on a good kart racer like Mario Kart World. It totally fills that gap!
