Following the success of the 2024 film, a new movie is on the way, and the first trailer, Minions and Monsters, has just been released.

The new film, Minions & Monsters, is directed by Pierre Coffin, who also directed the previous Despicable Me and Minions movies. Coffin has been the voice of the Minions since they first appeared on screen in 2010. Brian Lynch, known for his work on Minions and The Secret Life of Pets, co-wrote the screenplay with Coffin. The film is produced by Chris Meledandri, the founder and CEO of Illumination, and Bill Ryan, an executive producer on The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Brian Lynch also serves as an executive producer.
