While everyone is looking forward to games like Marvel’s Wolverine and GTA 6, let’s remember Saros – the new game from the team behind the fantastic Returnal.
The game is scheduled to release on April 30th, which is just around the corner. We’re big fans of the studio and their work, and we’re really looking forward to seeing more of Saros – it seems like a great step forward from the previous game.
We’ve already gotten a glimpse of the game, but here’s even more! The developers just released a short, 21-second gameplay clip.
The video features a player skillfully avoiding a chaotic barrage of projectiles, using jumps, quick dashes, and a protective shield to withstand attacks. It appears they’re battling a boss, although this isn’t explicitly stated.
It’s a shame it’s so short because the game is looking great.
Saros improves on Returnal in several important ways, making the game feel a bit more polished and slightly easier to play.
The game has some new features, such as lasting upgrades and easier progression, but the basic gameplay feels very similar to the previous installment.
This isn’t necessarily a drawback; the gameplay feels smooth, quick, and demanding. Saros appears to be offering a slight helping hand to players, but you’ll still need fast reflexes and good reactions to handle the fast-paced action and stay alive.
Roll on the end of April.
