Paramount recently dropped the second trailer for the upcoming Street Fighter movie, set to hit theaters on October 16, 2026. This reboot, directed by Kitao Sakurai, is the first proper live-action Street Fighter film in over three decades (let’s forget the 2009 attempt!), and fans are eagerly anticipating its release. The popular video game series has long deserved a successful movie adaptation, and this version looks promising.
Okay, so I just checked out the new trailer for the Street Fighter movie, and it looks pretty cool! It’s set back in 1993 and follows Ryu and Ken as they’re brought into the World Warrior Tournament by Chun-Li. Like the first teaser, this trailer really highlights how much the characters look like they stepped right out of the game – the designs are spot-on. The fight scenes look awesome, and the whole thing has a really fun, energetic vibe. You can check out the trailer yourself – it’s a blast!
