Please be aware that this article contains spoilers from the One Piece manga. Nico Robin is one of the most popular characters in One Piece, and for good reason. Fans love her intelligence, charming personality, and important role in the story. Recently, a new illustration of Robin by creator Eiichiro Oda went viral. The artwork features her signature haircut with bangs and a cool pair of sunglasses. Oda often showcases his characters with unique art styles, and this time, he’s highlighted fan-favorite Robin while promoting Volume 113 of the manga. The image was shared widely by @pewpiece, a well-known One Piece account on X (formerly Twitter), which regularly posts updates about the series.
The next volume of the series will be available in Japan on November 4, 2025. The author shared a sneak peek of the cover art and joked about the demanding schedule for weekly manga creators, who are constantly working to meet deadlines and release new volumes every few months. This volume will contain chapters 1145 through 1155, plus bonus illustrations and the popular SBS section where Oda answers fan questions. For international readers, English and other translated versions will be released in the months following the Japanese release. Currently, the story is diving deeper into the Elbaph Arc, shifting focus from the main battle to explore the exciting backstories of King Harald and Rocks D. Xebec.
Robin Will Have a Crucial Role in One Piece’s Elbaph Arc

I’m so excited for the Elbaf arc, especially for Robin! Can you imagine finding out someone you thought was gone for 22 years is actually alive? That’s exactly what happened with Jaguar D. Saul, a friend she lost during the devastating Ohara Incident. She honestly believed he died trying to protect her, so when she learned he’s been living safely in his home country, she was overcome with joy – and tears, of course! It’s going to be huge for her character.
She meets him again during the Elbaph Arc, having cut her bangs in the same style she wore as a child, hoping he would remember her. Their emotional reunion leads the story deeper into Elbaph’s long and complex history, and its ties to the mysterious Void Century. As an archaeologist who can read the ancient Poneglyphs, this island is incredibly important to her – and fans are eager to see the many secrets it holds revealed.
It’s unknown if Elbaf holds a Poneglyph, but the island’s historical records – including those from Harley and the massive mural shown in chapter 1138 – contain a lot of information about the Void Century and even earlier times. The manga storyline is still unfolding, and the anime will continue the adventure next year with a new broadcast schedule after a short break.
