OnlyFans Owner Leonid Radvinsky Dead at 43

The world of content creation has lost one of its most powerful figures.

Leonid Radvinsky, the 43-year-old businessman and owner of OnlyFans, has passed away after privately fighting cancer.

OnlyFans announced the passing of Leo Radvinsky, who died peacefully after a long illness with cancer, according to a statement to TopMob News.

The statement continued, “His family have requested privacy at his difficult time.”

Gennady Radvinsky, known for keeping to himself, was born in Ukraine and raised in Chicago. He stayed in the city to study economics at Northwestern University, earning his degree there. In 2018, he made his most significant business move by buying Fenix International Limited, the company that owns OnlyFans.

Since becoming CEO and major owner of OnlyFans, the platform—famous for its adult content and personalized subscriptions—has grown to over 300 million users worldwide.

Okay, so everyone knows about Leonid and his work with OnlyFans and Fenix, but honestly, it’s what he does beyond that which really gets me. I mean, he’s not just making investments, he’s actually giving back! I was absolutely floored when I read he went to this gastrointestinal research gala in 2024 – it was so unexpected! The Wall Street Journal said they talked about a HUGE $23 million grant for cancer research. Seriously, $23 million! It just proves he’s not just a businessman, he genuinely cares. I’ve been following his work for ages, and this just cemented him as a total icon in my eyes.

Before Radvinsky passed away, there was growing speculation about the future of OnlyFans. Reports in January from Reuters and the Wall Street Journal indicated that the platform—home to creators like Bonnie Blue, Janelle Evans from Teen Mom, and Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo—was considering a sale to Architect Capital. The potential deal would have valued the adult content site at $5.5 billion.

OnlyFans became popular during the Covid-19 pandemic and has been very profitable for many content creators. For example, Piper Rockelle recently reported earning $2.9 million in just the first 24 hours after joining the platform.

She shared a screenshot of her first paycheck on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, “My first day. Forever grateful.”
