This collaboration marks Miller’s return to “The Dark Knight Returns“, a classic tale that has been reimagined across various platforms, such as animated films and influencing Zack Snyder’s movie “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice“. In “The Dark Knight Returns“, Bruce Wayne emerges from a decade-long retirement to resume his crime-fighting activities, ultimately engaging in a showdown against Superman.

Previously unveiled are some cards for the Spider-Man collaboration, which will introduce characters that Marvel comics enthusiasts recognize and cherish into the world of Magic: The Gathering. Lately, Wizards of the Coast has disclosed Welcome Decks focusing on Peter Parker’s Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2099, Venom, Ghost Spider, and Miles Morales’ Spider-Man. Based on information from a reliable source within the industry known as Kurakasis, it appears that 2K may be organizing an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) event. The purpose of this event remains uncertain at present, but there’s a strong possibility that it could be connected to BioShock 4, given that it is currently the only confirmed project from 2K. While it’s also speculated that this could potentially be for a BioShock movie, the production for which is ongoing at Netflix and they don’t have much experience with ARGs. It’s possible that this event could instead be for another project, such as a remake of the original game. However, it should be noted that these are merely speculations. More likely than not, the ARG is being planned for a new BioShock game.
