After Bullseye hurts Vanessa, she’s in the hospital fighting for her life, and seeing Fisk at her side is heartbreaking, even though she wasn’t exactly a good person herself. Honestly, their messed-up connection is what made it so compelling. When she dies at the end of the episode, it’s a truly haunting moment. It leaves Fisk in this raw, vulnerable state that’s surprisingly relatable, and you almost feel bad for him… but you know New York City is about to pay the price for it. It’s a really powerful and unsettling setup.
