Peacock Users Have Just One Day Left to Watch an Underrated WWII Movie

A standout modern action movie initially went unnoticed when it premiered in cinemas in 2022, but has since gained popularity on streaming platforms. The film enjoyed a comeback on Peacock this summer, however, it will be leaving the service soon, offering viewers one last chance to catch it before its departure, scheduled for this week.

The film under discussion is “Sisu,” an action movie similar to John Wick, directed by Jalmari Helander and set at the end of World War II. Its fast-paced action sequences and intense fight scenes garnered it numerous positive reviews during its festival run three years ago, and since then, it has developed a cult following. If “Sisu” is on your Peacock watchlist, now would be an ideal time to watch it because it will soon be leaving the service.

On Thursday, it’s confirmed that Sisu will leave Peacock’s offerings, providing viewers with less than 24 hours to enjoy its thrilling scenes. Currently, no significant streaming platform has disclosed intentions to broadcast the movie further.

If you’re keen on trying out the show “Sisu” while it’s still available on Peacock, and you’re not a subscriber yet, you can easily become one by clicking here to sign up.

A Sisu Sequel Is Coming Soon

It’s a bit disappointing that Sisu is departing from Peacock so soon after the initial trailer for its eagerly awaited sequel, Sisu: Road to Revenge, was released online. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on November 21st, and you can watch the intense trailer below if you haven’t already.

In the upcoming sequel, Jorma Tommila once again takes center stage, while Stephen Lang from Avatar assumes the position of the primary antagonist. Titled Road to Revenge, this film is set in 1946 as Tommila’s character, Aatami, strives to reconstruct his family’s homestead. However, when the Russian leader (Lang) who murdered his family resurfaces with the intent of completing his mission, a deadly confrontation spanning across the country ensues.
